Awesome God

Recently I have been listening to songs of faith from my childhood. I remember these being taught by my teachers at school as young as 4 years old.  Today I was met with another attack from the enemy in my family. I listened to my loved one and hopefully encouraged.  When the talk was over I prayed and closed my eyes and rested. When I found I couldn't go back to sleep a seed of discouragement entered my mind.  That's when this song came to mind.  Thank you Mrs. Meyers wherever you be! In 7th grade you made our class memorize this song. When I could have been discouraged or feel hopeless this came to mind.  This morning, I realized that normal emotions that would weigh me down weren't there.  When faced with such a blatant attack from satan, the ultimate schemer, I had a praise on my lips.
